Hey there and welcome to the Holiday 2008 blog for Pure Sugar Studios
I am so excited to make my 2008 Holiday Announcements! I know, its still 90 degrees out, thinking about December seems CRAZY! But, before you know it, the holidays will be here. So without further blog chatter here is the info:
This year I will be doing mini session days- this means these are the ONLY days and ONLY places I will be offering the mini sessions {note- this is different then last year}. There will be a choice of both a studio sitting and an on location setting. Mini Sessions are extremely popular, so please book early to get the time you need. In this blog you will find info on the backgrounds, “what to wear” and the link to all the card designs {I think I have over 200 this year}.

The Cards:

** Colors, text, fonts, and layouts are all customizable based on clothing and session. Please sneak a peak before your session to see what you like.
The Dates:
Jacksonville, FL
Studio Session: {1319 Chelsey Circle,St Augustine, FL directions}
November 9th, 10am to 3 pm
On-location: {Alpine Grove Park, Jacksonville, FL, directions to follow}
November 8th, from 3pm to 5:30 pm
November 5th, from 3pm to 5:30 pm
** This park is in Northern St. Johns county, off SR 13, on the St Johns River. It has gorgeous trees, and river locations and is a wonderful setting for portraits. The park also has trails and a play area for children, so if you have not been, check it out!
Orlando, FL:
November 15th, Dates and Times TBD {I am planning evening at Heathrow Park ~ 3:00 to 5:00 pm depending on sunset}
The Details:
The mini- session
Mini- sessions are designed to make your holiday session as easy as possible! This year the mini sessions will be 15 minutes and will include 5-7 proofs for you to choose from. The sessions include up to 4 family members. Additional family members are $10. Sessions are pre-paid, and are available on a first come, first serve basis and are only available on the dates listed below.
The Investment:
The gingerbread: Both studio and on-location mini sessions are $100, which includes your 15 minute session and 24 flat cards from the plain jane line if cards {the Couture line is $50 add’l}. Each additional set of cards is $65. Folded 5×7 cards are $25 additional per 24 cards. Any additional portraits, wall canvases etc will be available for purchase from the a la carte menu. ** After your session you are always allowed to upgrade to the Pumpkin Pie collection. Additional cards are $60 per 24.
The Pumpkin Pie: Both studio and on-location mini sessions are $400 and includes session for up to 4 people, 24 flat cards, and 2 items from the bonus choice menu below. Portraits, canvases, ornaments, and additional items are available at a the a la carte pricing.
The Apple pie {a la mode of course): Both studio and on-location mini sessions are $650 and includes session for up to 4 people, 48 flat cards or 24 Folded cards, and 4 items from the bonus choice menu below. Portraits, canvases, ornaments, and additional items are available at a 15% discount from the a la carte pricing.

** Additional Flat cards are $50 per 24
The Buche de Noel: Includes a full session for $100 on location or in the studio and up to 2 hours of photography. Sessions available in downtown St. Augustine, San marco, the beaches, etc. You may then purchase the pumpkin or apple pie package and get a $50 a la carte credit for any additional items and 15% off a la carte prices.
If you had a session this year and would like to use your images for holiday cards, 5×7 flat cards are available for $75 for the first 24 cards, and $60 for each add’l 24 cards. The digital files are available for $150 per image.
**Additionally the last day for holiday sessions is to guarantee Holiday delivery is November 1st and the last day to order holiday cards is November 20th. After November 20th Holiday cards will incur a rush fee {will vary based on the number of cards purchased}. After December 1st, there is no guarantee on cards, and flat 5×7 cards will begin at $150 per set {plus rush fee}.
