William was 8 days old in these pictures and weighed in just over 8 pounds. We have all waited {patiently} for this lil’ peanut to make his debut- his mom and dad are friends of ours in the neighborhood. I have waited quite a few months to enjoy a glass of wine withe the new mom and we FINALLY get too! William is as perfect as can be- sleeping well, no fussies- just amazing. And both mom and dad {and his two big sisters} are so smitten with him. Who can blame them with all that chubbiness and wonderfully flaky newborn skin! I am pretty smitten myself!

Congrats guys- he is perfect!

He was so deliciously adorable- and it was pretty obvious mom was smitten with him as well! She absolutely radiated love for this little one.

Mom and dad were both so smitten with this little cutie, he was so smushy! of course, Mr. Owen decided he wanted to party all through the session, and only slept for 15 minutes. Fortunately, he was so wonderful when he was awake, we captured some beautiful newborn images.

She was just 8 days old, and so sweet! I can already tell she will have her mothers insanely gorgeous lips! She is also showing signs of resemblance to her big sis- I could see some of the same mannerisms. It always amazes me how much genetics plays a roll in our mannerisms as well as our looks.

Giana did fabulous, and slept like a rock through the session! I jusy adore all those sweet new baby parts! Its amazing how quick they change. We are doing the second half to this session next week, and I am so excited to see how much she has grown!

Ok…so I knew it was coming, this was the bestest sleepy abay EVER! Perhaps it was beacuse she had a touch of jaundice…but I am not complaining. Emerson did so well, I could not have been more proud of a baby.  I know, I saw that every time, but seriously the babies in my studio are just AMAZING!  Now, I wont promise that they sleep as well for mom and dad {you could keep your house at 90 degrees and pick up a bean bag}. I just love how pliable and bendy and utterly smushable a week old baby is. I think I live vicariously through each of my new parents- holding, and snuggling- its like I am a young YOUNG grandma- hold ‘em till they cry!

Emerson’s parents also did a fabulous job! It was so great to see you two as parents, and loving it. Your faces were literally alive with love and fascination for Miss E.  Remember all of this amazingness, its over in a flash…

Seriously? NOTHING! and this month its raining babies! Actually  its like 2010 has been the year of the newborn! Ok, so I love me some newborn parts, so I am not complaining! This is baby Abigail, 9 days old here, and just as beautiful as she can be!  She had the most beautiful head of hair, and some gorgeous skin too! She was such a little rockstar and slept through most of our session! of course, I think mom and dad are still trying to cool off from the studio- it got up to 87 degrees!

Teagan was a week late making her debut, but was so sweet, I just know mom and dad completely forgive her for delaying their introductions. Mom is doing so awesome and even had 5 STRAIGHT hours of sleep before our session! Both girls are doing well, and settling in to their new roles.  It seems like just yesterday that this was Haylee and Ashleigh- watch out mom and dad, this will fly by!
