We met out at TPC sawgrass and photographed on the stadium course, a special place for them, because they were also married at the clubhouse.  I had a great time with this family and cannot wait to meet the newest addition.

They are expecting baby #2, a girl! I know she will have one fantastic older brother- he is so excited for his baby sister to get here. He was so cute, and did so well in the studio- especially considering it was his birthday! I am so anxious to photograph the new little one!

They are both so excited about their new addition- and I am sure anxious too!  Mom arrived first so we started with a few of just her. Then, when dad arrived, we got him in on the fun too. We started with the “glass to belly” shot which is one of my faves- and of course, dad looked at me like I had lost all my marbles {I probably have}.  So, mom looks at him and says  “Oh, honey, just make one of you faces” and the image below is “the face”. He reminded me so much of John, that it was instantly one of my favorites! I can only imagine what the little peanut will say when he is about 10 years old -”WHAT were you doing dad??!!”  But really, those moments are priceless, and I am betting its a face he makes ALOT! So darn cute! Hm…I wonder what the baby said…

Congrats you two! Enjoy your last few weeks of sleeping in- the next 18 years are a FUN RIDE!

Maybe we could call her NN for short? One of my favorite clients, and her mom, came in last week.  Miss Leila is anxiously awaiting becoming a big sister, and we were lucky enough to capture that last week in the studio.  Leila did absolutely fantastic in the studio, even smiling on demand! I was so proud of her! I have been photographing Miss L since she was 4 weeks old, so seeing her this big, is a tad bittersweet. It reminds me how fast time flies by, and how fast out little ones grow up! Of course, mom is rocking too- if I looked that good at 36 weeks, I would be pregnant all the time!

Thanks, as always for allowing me to photograph your amazing family- I just adore you all! I am so excited to meet Baby NN and watch her grow too!

After I thought about it- even after she left- I realized what an awesome honor it is. Having a baby is life altering, on so many levels. Once you have been through this right of passage, you know exactly what I mean- there is NOTHING in this world like it. I have learned no matter how many ways I say it to my new mommy’s- until you do it all, its just words! I am sure for this new mom, it was just the same- no matter how many times I tell clients to go to the movies, and go eat dinner out- LOTS- they must just think I am crazy! Ahh…having a baby changes everything!

The studio has been filled with expectant parents lately!  Its so cute to see them all excited and anticipating the birth of thier little ones.  This couple was no different- so anxious and so happy! The birth of any child is amazing- but when its your first, I think the excitement is on overload! It probably has something to do with that fear of the unknown too. Of course, all my new moms are afraid of the labor part- HA! Thats the easiest part! And trust me, in a few months, you will forget all that! Its the raising them part thats scary! I am afraid every little minute decision I make means the difference between raising the next US President or Ax murderer! No pressure though…

This father-to-be is so excited, and so smitten with his beautiful wife- although, who can blame him! She looks pretty amazing for nine months pregnant! I think he ooed and ahhd over her through the whole session! He even requested the kissing the belly shot {because he does it every day at home}- that of course led to the “listening glass” shot.  I wonder if he heard anything??  I just love watching new parents! Having a baby changes so much about your relationship and your life- the more you enjoy the ride, the better that ride is! Congrats you two- I cant wait to meet your new baby! I wonder if its a boy or a girl… ;)

When I was pregnant with Haylee, I looked like I had swallowed a beach ball. Of course, Mark reminds me I was the most beautiful pregnant woman he had ever seen- but, alas, he has to say that! Ms. J was accompanied by her adorable son, who was just as wonderful to photograph- and I know he is so excited to be a big brother!

While waiting, mom put together a beautiful bracelet with his initials on it- it was so gorgeous- although, I don’t think I have seen a piece of jewelry I DONT like! Now dad’s on the hunt for her push present! I had a great time with these two, as dad and I knew some of the same people from high school- its always fun to do a walk down memory lane. Of course, as you can see, mom is perfectly pregnant and absolutely stunning on film! What could be better than that!

Beyond that, the mom is sporting one of the CUTEST hairdo’s I have ever seen! I would KILL to be able to wear it! I can only imagine how long it takes to blow dry! Of course, she has about 7 inches on me- I know this because she tells me when she buys pants, they are too SHORT! UGH! I would KILL to have that dilemma!
This couple was so much fun! They were up for some of my new poses, which always makes shooting more fun! I had such a fantastic time with them. Now, I am just waiting for their little one…and you KNOW she will be early! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!
