{The one} with the amazing 2 year old

On Sunday I met up with this wonderful family to do a photo session. Mom and Dad are awaiting girl #3, so we got some of mom before the wee one makes her arrival. Of course we also got some fun shots of the two sisters. The oldest girl is six, and was one of the most photogenic girls I have ever photographed. She loved posing, loved the camera, and did exactly as she was asked- it was amazing! And, now I know those of you with two year olds wont believe this, but so did her younger sister! She was FABULOUS! Sat still, smiled, and fell for the peek-a-boo camera trick EVERY TIME! I do love the simplicity of young children- their laughs are always belly laughs, honest and pure, and they love to laugh over the same thing! It makes my job so much more enjoyable!

C family, I hope you had a wonderful Sunday, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peak. I cant wait to meet the new addition!

The photographer absolutely caught the sauciness of the girls, your romance, and this aura of harmony that Shirls has always carried. The details, right down to Catalina’s crossed feet, are perfect and unassuming.
